This is very useful for when you want to add an extra trolley item when a customer is buying another item, for example "Buy licence certificate with this product".

Also use the function "Min/Max Order Quantities" to configure a maximum order amount of the additional item.

Creating Bundles

On this page:

Overview

Create the Product

Assign Products to the Bundle

Video Guide:

Overview

You may want to sell products in Bundles, Assemblies, or Packs.

Bundles are composite collections of items sold as a separate product.

For example a bundle could be a wash bag with 3 skin care products in it, all of which you sell individually.

The bundle itself is NOT stock controlled, but each individual item is.

Assemblies are items you make out of a composite collection of others and ARE stock controlled.

You can choose to assemble or disassemble them using their components and so change the stock levels of both the assembly and their components.

For example a computer that is sold individually could be an Assembly because it is made up of components that you stock. The components are taken out of stock to be used to make the computer. However, if you wanted you could disassemble the product to access the components to put them back in stock so that they can be sold.

Packs are specialised forms of assemblies where a pack is made up of a quantity of only one inventory item. Packs can be 'unpacked' into individual items e.g. a pack of Cocoa Cola.

Create the Product

Log into your KhooSeller admin area.

Under My Site create a product and assign it a unique SKU.

Create the Bundle

Click MC Inventory > Inventory List > New Product that you just created (our example is Back to School > Pencil Icon.

A dialogue box will appear that you need to complete.

Choose which type of product you want to make e.g bundle and then using the Add the SKU or title to the Add box to find the product that you wish to add.

Click Ok and the product will appear in the box. Now assign stock levels.

Click OK and you will see that that there will now be a box with a bow on the line item in the MC inventory list.

Overview

Sometimes you may not want to hide a product completely, but instead disable purchasing. This means customers are still able to view the product, but it will prevent them from purchasing them. This is particularly useful when a product goes out of stock.

Information: Customers will still be able to put the item into their wish list for a later date.

Preventing Product Purchase/Hiding Shop

When you go to view your product, you'll notice the Add to Trolley button has gone. This indicates the shop is now hidden for that product.

Overview

If you operate more than one KhooSeller website, you may wish to copy your products across the websites. This may be the case if you run a wholesale and consumer website.

Information: It is recommended to ensure your websites are set up identically prior to attempting this. You will need to contact the KhooSeller team to ensure that copying between websites is enabled.

Copying products across websites

Ensure your product codes are not already in use on the website you are copying into. This may have occured if you have already attempted to copy products or already run a product import. If your product codes are already in use, you can amend these and then hide or delete the products. You must change the code prior to deleting the products.

In the websites you are copying between, you must also ensure that the variant sets are identical.

Once your websites are setup, click on My Site and find the page, product or folder you would like to copy. You can use 'Options' >' copyto...' to copy your products between websites.

Your product will now appear in the other website in a hidden folder.

You will now need to enter the product variant codes, prices and attributes.
